Meet the Oakcrest Team!
With over ten years of experience in carpentry and customer service, our team is ready to serve you!
Tyler’s love for the outdoors & working with his hands all started back when he was a youngster. As a little tyke, Tyler shadowed his father, and original owner of Oakcrest Construction, Keith Kroll, on the job sites. Pounding nails, walking on trusses, and learning from Dad was a normal affair. They worked together on many projects-decks, siding, framing & finishing homes, barns, installing windows, doors, & much more.
Tyler quickly grabbed ahold of the passion for building and continued his education at Ferris State University where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management.
Tyler went on to build his experience & knowledge working at Cottage Home as a Lead Carpenter, Project Coordinator, Estimator & Purchaser. He has lead numerous specialized carpentry projects along the lakeshore including luxury decks, custom staircases, outdoor showers, indoor & outdoor finish trim work.
In his spare time, Tyler, Caitlyn (wife), and two kids love being outside on the Big Lake boating, going for Harley rides with his Dad, golfing, campfires, & spending time with family!
